Cookie policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This policy explains how Hussteer uses cookies and similar technologies on hussteer.com, which third-party services may receive certain data, and how you can manage your preferences.

Optional cookies are only used with your consent. If you choose “Essentials only”, only what is strictly necessary for the site to work is switched on.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file saved on your device when you visit a website. It can allow the site to work properly, remember certain preferences, or help us understand how it is used. Some cookies are essential to how Hussteer works. Others are optional and require your consent. We may also use similar technologies, such as local storage, certain scripts or server-to-server exchanges.

Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. We use in particular:

hussteer-consent
Stores your cookie preferences for about one year.
NEXT_LOCALE
Stores the language chosen on the site, French or English.
hussteer_admin
Secure session cookie reserved for administrators, used to reach content administration.

Audience measurement

These tools are only switched on after your consent, where consent is required.

Vercel Web Analytics
Lets us measure traffic and page views in aggregate, with no cross-site advertising tracking.
Hussteer Tracking
Our in-house tool lets us analyse how the site is used — pages viewed and certain interactions — in order to improve the experience.
Microsoft Clarity
Helps us understand how visitors use certain pages, through heatmaps and session recordings.

Advertising and conversion measurement

We may use various advertising services to measure how our campaigns perform and better understand where enquiries come from. This may involve:

Google
Google Tag Manager et Google Ads
Microsoft
Microsoft Advertising et UET
Meta
Facebook, Instagram, Meta Pixel et API Conversions
LinkedIn
Insight Tag

These technologies are switched on in line with your consent choices. When you contact us following an advertising campaign, some information such as your email address or phone number may be passed in hashed form to the platforms concerned, in order to measure the origin of a conversion.

Identifying business visitors

With your consent, we may use services such as Apollo.io or Happierleads to identify the companies behind certain visits to our site. Depending on the service and the information available, these tools may also identify certain business contacts. These services are not switched on when you decline optional cookies.

CRM and forms

When you fill in a Hussteer form, the information you send us may be recorded in our CRM in order to handle your request and reply to you. This may include: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number and the content of your message. If we use HubSpot, its tracking tool may also set the hubspotutk cookie, subject to your consent, in order to link a form submission to your visit.

Advertising identifiers

When you reach Hussteer from an advertisement, the page address may contain an identifier showing which campaign brought you, for example: gclid, fbclid, msclkid or li_fat_id. These identifiers may be kept for up to 90 days in order to measure how our campaigns perform. If you contact us, the matching identifier may be linked to your request to determine which campaign generated it.

Managing your preferences

You can accept or decline optional cookies from our consent banner. You can also delete or block cookies directly from your browser settings. Some site features may be affected when certain cookies are blocked. You can change your choice at any time from “Manage my cookies” on the site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change to reflect changes to our services, our tools or applicable regulations. The date shown at the top of this page is the latest published version.

Trust, security and transparency

Hussteer is a SaaS platform built for real-estate professionals. We are committed to protecting your data, keeping our services transparent and complying with applicable regulations.

Data protection

The data you import, create or store in Hussteer remains yours. It is never resold to third parties and is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Artificial intelligence

Hussteer's artificial-intelligence features are designed to assist professionals in their daily work. Automatically generated content — including property descriptions, summaries, replies or suggestions — must be checked before publication. Users remain responsible for the information they publish.

Voice publishing

Voice commands are analysed in order to create or complete property records. Voice recognition may misinterpret input. Human validation is always recommended before publishing.

Listing distribution

Listings can be sent to various property portals and partner services. Availability of integrations, publication times and certain features depend on the APIs and terms of use of each partner.

Electronic signature

Where an electronic signature is used, it is provided by a specialist provider. The signature process, archiving and retention of evidence are the provider's responsibility, in line with applicable regulations.

Service availability

We do everything we can to provide a reliable, high-performing platform. Temporary interruptions may nonetheless occur during maintenance, or as a result of events beyond our control.

Security

Traffic between your browser and Hussteer is encrypted. We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and alteration.

Third-party integrations

Some features rely on third-party services such as property portals, electronic-signature providers, mapping services, payment solutions and artificial-intelligence models. Hussteer cannot be held responsible for interruptions, changes or limitations originating from those services.

Platform evolution

Hussteer evolves continuously. Features, integrations, pricing and terms of use may change in order to improve the service or to meet regulatory developments.

Limitation of liability

Hussteer provides support tools for real-estate professionals. Users remain solely responsible for the information they publish, for valuations, listings, generated documents, mandates and collected signatures, and for compliance with their legal and professional obligations.
